A Note on Photographs

I use photographs on this website to illustrate specific historical points.  Whenever possible, I take photographs of artifacts in my collection specifically for use here.  I also use photographs my wife and I have taken on our travels to historic locations.

To provide historical context, I use a number of photographs from the archives of the Imperial War Museum.  I have therefore read and agree to the IWM’s non-commercial license provisions.  I do not receive any income from this website; if that ever changes, I understand I will need to either discontinue using the IWM’s photos or seek commercial licensure for their use.
